Even with pain, peace is still the best option

It has taken me a moment to post anything on the recent cattle raids and loss of life in both Laikipia and Samburu West. I have been overwhelmed by the thought that the peace many worked for and has lasted for over six years could be under threat. I know many of us are doing their level best to see that does not happen. I pray to God for the communities to realize that even with pain, peace is still the best option. Many questions however linger on my mind, key being; Will the sustainable peace we all tirelessly work for ever strive with the presence of illegal firearms in the hands of civilians? My take is we have to rethink and re-engage
