Who we are

A Kenyan foundation for peace and opportunity

NLPF works with women, youth, schools, and community leaders — especially in pastoral and conflict-affected areas — to build dialogue, keep children learning, and open paths to leadership.

What drives us

Mission & approach

Our mission

The Naisula Lesuuda Peace Foundation (NLPF) equips youth, women, and communities with skills and opportunities to be agents of change for peace and sustainable development in Kenya.

Our vision

A society where peace is practiced daily, women and youth lead with confidence, and education lifts families out of poverty.

Founded in 2013

NLPF strengthens dialogue in pastoral regions, supports vulnerable children in school, and challenges harmful practices through community-led advocacy — from peace caravans to scholarship drives, rooted in listening first.

How we work today

We partner with women’s groups, schools, faith communities, and local leaders to run dialogues when tensions rise, amplify scholarship opportunities, and mentor young people who want to serve their counties.

Collaborate via our contact page — chiefs, teachers, NGOs, and diaspora partners welcome.
