Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about NLPF programs, partnerships, and this website.
Is this the official website of Hon. Naisula Lesuuda’s parliamentary office?
No. naisulalesuuda.org is the Naisula Lesuuda Peace Foundation (NLPF) — a non-profit focused on peace, education, and empowerment. Constituency and National Assembly work is published on a separate site when available.
How can a student apply for scholarship help through NLPF?
Contact us with the student’s name, school, county, guardian details, and any exam results or admission letters. We help families navigate national and partner scholarship programs; we do not replace school or donor application processes.
How can my organisation partner with the foundation?
Email info@naisulalesuuda.org with your organisation profile and proposed collaboration (peace forums, bursaries, women’s groups, mentorship, etc.). We respond to serious partnership inquiries within a few business days.
How do I donate?
Donation channels (M-Pesa, PayPal, bank) will be published on Get involved when our finance team finalises details. Until then, contact us to discuss directed giving for scholarships or peace programs.
Does NLPF run peace dialogues in my county?
We prioritise pastoral and conflict-affected communities where local leaders invite facilitation. If you represent elders, youth, or faith groups seeking dialogue, contact us with context and proposed dates.
Can I volunteer remotely or from Nairobi?
Yes — skills in communications, mentoring, fundraising, and programme support are welcome. Field activities depend on community needs and security. Tell us how you’d like to help on the contact form.
How do you protect children and vulnerable people in your programs?
We work through schools, chiefs, and trusted community structures. A formal safeguarding policy will be published as programs scale; report any concern immediately to info@naisulalesuuda.org.
